1. Overview
FansStack is a platform that enables transactions between creators and fans. Transactions may include creator sessions, subscriptions, digital content, marketplace purchases, pay-per-minute services, and voluntary creator support payments.
FansStack is not the seller or provider of the creator's products, services, content, or other offerings. The creator is responsible for the transaction with the fan, including determining whether a refund is appropriate for the creator's product, service, content, or other offering.
Refund eligibility and settlement are matters between the creator and the fan. FansStack does not determine whether a creator must issue a refund, except where FansStack is required to take action under applicable law, a payment-provider requirement, a chargeback or payment-network determination, or another binding legal or regulatory requirement.
2. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to payments made through FansStack, including bookings, subscriptions, digital content purchases, marketplace transactions, creator tips, and other paid features offered through the platform.
The specific refund terms applicable to a creator's offering may also be established by the creator, provided those terms comply with applicable law and FansStack's Terms of Service and other applicable platform requirements.
3. General Refund Principles
A fan who believes a refund is appropriate should first communicate with the creator regarding the transaction. The creator and fan are responsible for resolving the underlying refund matter between themselves.
- A refund request does not automatically create an obligation for FansStack to issue a refund.
- The creator is responsible for any refund the creator agrees to provide or is otherwise required to provide.
- FansStack's platform fee is non-refundable and is not automatically reversed because a creator refunds a fan.
- Where FansStack provides technical tools for refund processing, those tools facilitate the settlement between the creator and fan and do not make FansStack a party to that underlying settlement.
- Refund timing depends on the payment processor, financial institution, blockchain network, or other applicable payment service.
4. Creator Sessions and Bookings
Creator sessions include consultations, private calls, and scheduled services purchased through FansStack.
If a creator cancels a session, does not attend a confirmed appointment, cannot provide the purchased service, or provides a service that does not conform to the creator's stated offering, the fan may seek a resolution directly from the creator, including a refund where appropriate.
Refunds for missed appointments by a fan, completed sessions, or other circumstances are determined between the creator and fan subject to applicable law and the creator's stated terms.
5. Subscriptions
Subscriptions provide access to creator benefits during the selected billing period.
- Fans may cancel future subscription renewals in accordance with the applicable subscription terms.
- Cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund for a previous subscription payment.
- Where a fan seeks a refund for a subscription payment, the matter should be resolved with the applicable creator.
- Unauthorized charges, duplicate charges, or other payment issues may also be subject to payment-provider or applicable legal procedures.
6. Digital Content and Pay-Per-View
Digital content purchases, including pay-per-view and pay-per-access content, provide access to digital materials supplied by creators.
Because digital content may become immediately available after purchase, the creator may establish limited refund terms after access has been provided, subject to applicable law.
Fans seeking a refund for digital content should communicate directly with the creator regarding the purchase and any applicable refund.
7. Pay-Per-Minute Sessions
Pay-per-minute services are billed based on actual usage or session duration.
If a fan believes that a technical problem, billing error, or other issue warrants a refund, the fan should communicate with the creator regarding the transaction. Any refund agreed to by the creator remains the creator's responsibility.
8. Marketplace Products
Creators are responsible for products they offer through FansStack, including product descriptions, fulfillment, delivery, and refunds, subject to applicable law and the terms governing the applicable transaction.
- Digital products may have limited refund eligibility after delivery or access.
- Creators must accurately describe products offered through FansStack.
- Fans seeking a refund should communicate directly with the creator regarding the product and transaction.
9. Tips and Creator Support
Tips and creator support payments are voluntary payments intended to support creators.
Tips are generally non-refundable. If a fan believes a tip resulted from an unauthorized transaction, payment error, or other issue, the matter may be addressed through the applicable payment provider or directly with the creator, as appropriate.
9A. Advertising Purchases — All Sales Final
All advertising purchases made through FansStack are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
FansStack provides paid advertising placements that allow creators and other eligible advertisers to promote their content, profiles, products, or services through supported advertising locations on the platform.
By purchasing an advertising placement, the advertiser agrees that the purchase is final once payment has been successfully completed. Advertising purchases are not eligible for routine refunds, cancellations, or credits.
Refunds are not provided solely because an advertiser changes their mind, no longer wishes to advertise, does not use the entire purchased advertising period, requests early termination, or is dissatisfied with the number of views, clicks, interactions, or other results obtained from an advertisement.
Advertisers are responsible for reviewing all advertising details before completing checkout, including the advertisement content, destination URL, selected placement, banner dimensions, campaign duration, and total purchase amount, including any applicable processing fees.
Advertising approval is subject to FansStack's advertising requirements and applicable platform policies. Purchase of an advertising placement does not guarantee any particular number of impressions, clicks, conversions, sales, followers, or other results.
Exceptions: Nothing in this section limits any refund or other remedy required by applicable law, payment-network rules, or binding payment-provider requirements. FansStack may also review exceptional circumstances, including duplicate charges, billing errors, or an advertising service that FansStack is unable to provide.
Any discretionary exception is determined by FansStack on a case-by-case basis and does not establish a general right to a refund for advertising purchases.
If a completed full refund is issued for an advertising purchase, FansStack may discontinue the associated advertising campaign and remove its advertisement from active delivery.
This section applies exclusively to advertising purchases. It does not change the refund terms for creator sessions, subscriptions, marketplace products, tips, digital content, or other transactions between creators and fans.
10. Refund Request Process
Fans should first contact the creator regarding any refund request. The creator and fan are responsible for communicating and resolving the underlying refund matter.
Where FansStack provides a refund-request or transaction-support feature, the platform may record the request and provide the applicable transaction information to facilitate communication or payment processing. Use of such a feature does not mean that FansStack is deciding whether a refund is warranted.
When using an available FansStack refund process, the request may include:
- Transaction reference number.
- Reason for the request.
- Supporting information when applicable.
11. Creator and Fan Resolution
Refund settlement is strictly between the creator and the fan. The creator determines whether to approve a refund, the amount of any refund, and any applicable resolution, subject to applicable law, payment-provider requirements, and any binding obligation applicable to the transaction.
FansStack does not act as an arbitrator, mediator, or decision-maker for ordinary refund disagreements between creators and fans. FansStack may provide transaction records or technical assistance where appropriate, but providing such assistance does not make FansStack responsible for the underlying transaction or refund decision.
Nothing in this section limits FansStack's ability to enforce its Terms of Service, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, respond to payment-provider requirements, or take action necessary to protect the platform and its users.
12. Refund Processing
When a creator approves a refund, FansStack may provide technical functionality that allows the refund to be submitted to the payment provider used for the original transaction.
FansStack's role in processing a refund is administrative and technical. The underlying refund obligation remains between the creator and the fan.
Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider used for the original transaction whenever possible.
FansStack does not control the exact timing of bank, blockchain, or payment processor settlement. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution, blockchain network, or other applicable service provider.
Cryptocurrency and blockchain transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed on the applicable network. FansStack currently does not support cryptocurrency refunds. Users should carefully verify all transaction details, including the wallet address, cryptocurrency, network, and amount, before submitting a cryptocurrency payment.
13. Creator Earnings and Platform Fees
FansStack's platform fee is earned and retained when the applicable transaction is completed. The platform fee compensates FansStack for providing, operating, and maintaining the platform, facilitating the transaction, and providing the applicable technology, infrastructure, and platform resources used in connection with the transaction.
If a creator agrees to provide a refund, the creator is responsible for making the applicable customer refund in accordance with the refund process applicable to the transaction. A creator-approved refund does not automatically reverse, reduce, or require FansStack to return its platform fee.
Because FansStack's platform fee has already been earned and retained, the creator may bear the economic cost of refunding an amount that includes the portion of the original transaction that was retained by FansStack as its platform fee. FansStack does not withdraw or recover its platform fee from the creator as part of the refund; rather, the creator is responsible for funding the applicable refund to the customer.
For example, if a customer completes a $100 transaction, QBitFlow deducts its applicable processing fee, FansStack retains a $20 platform fee, and the remaining amount is allocated to the creator, FansStack keeps its $20 platform fee if the creator later approves a full refund. The creator is responsible for the applicable refund amount required to make the customer whole under the applicable refund process.
Cryptocurrency and blockchain transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed on the applicable network. FansStack currently does not support cryptocurrency refunds. Creators and fans are responsible for reviewing all transaction details carefully before a cryptocurrency payment is submitted.
FansStack does not guarantee that a creator will have sufficient funds available to complete an approved refund. Where permitted by applicable law and applicable payment-provider requirements, FansStack may restrict payouts, future earnings, or other amounts payable to the creator where necessary to address an approved refund obligation or related transaction adjustment.
FansStack may maintain records linking refunds to the original transaction, the creator, the refund amount, the payment provider, and the applicable creator-side financial adjustment.
Nothing in this section limits any refund, reimbursement, or other remedy that FansStack may be required to provide under applicable law, payment-network rules, payment-provider requirements, or other binding legal or regulatory obligations.
14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Fans and creators should attempt to resolve ordinary refund matters directly with one another before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback where appropriate.
A chargeback or payment dispute involving a card or other supported payment method is handled through the applicable payment provider, financial institution, card network, or other payment intermediary under its applicable procedures. FansStack does not control the outcome of any chargeback or payment dispute process.
Cryptocurrency and blockchain transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed on the applicable network and are not subject to traditional chargeback procedures. FansStack currently does not support cryptocurrency chargebacks or cryptocurrency refunds.
FansStack may provide transaction records and other information requested by a payment provider or financial institution in connection with a payment dispute.
Unauthorized or abusive chargeback activity may result in account review, restrictions, or suspension in accordance with FansStack's Terms of Service.
15. Fraud Prevention
FansStack may investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, abuse, repeated fraudulent refund activity, unauthorized account access, or manipulation of platform systems.
FansStack may take appropriate action to protect the platform, creators, fans, and payment systems, including restricting accounts or transactions where permitted by applicable law and the FansStack Terms of Service.
Fraud prevention and platform enforcement are separate from the ordinary determination of whether a creator owes a refund to a fan.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will revise the effective date and publish the updated policy on this page.
